Touted to be an iPhone killer, the high-end Nokia N96 16GB comes to India just before the official launch of the iPhone on 22 August.
Ahead of the launch of Apple's inconic brand iPhone, world's largest mobile phone maker Nokia has unveiled its new converged device N96 under its 'N Series' stable.The iPhone will be available in 8GB and 16GB models, Nokia's 16GB high-end phone can be further expanded to 24GB through an external card.
N96, which is expected to hit the Indian market by September, is likely to be priced above Rs 30,000.which is same as that of iphone.although nokia has not yet announced the exact price.
The memory of N96 can store up to 18,000 songs, up to 20,000 images and up to 60 hours of video or 20 full length movies
Though the phone would be available from September, consumers can pre-book the phone from across 2,000 Nokia outlets across the country ,but this isnt free, like for the iphone here also we need to shred some money for pre-booking and that will not increase Rs.4000
