iphone 3G - phone in reckoning!!

So finally India is ready for the "nxt" generation - "iphone"
iphone is an apple company production.it was launched worldwide on july 11. but due to some reasons best known to apple it could not come to India.but now we too will be able to have a look of iphone from august 22nd.
The two major GSM operators in our country i.e. AIRTEL n VODAFONE are launching the iphone simultaneously on august 22nd.and the good news is that both have announced the prices for different models, but the bad news is that its "too high"..quite opposite to what we all anticipated.
here are the prices:

VODAFONE:
8gb model - 31,000
16gb model- 36,100
booking in advance - 10,000
AIRTEL
8bg model - 31,000
16gb model(black & white)- 36,100
booking in advance - 5000

as u can see its the same except the booking prices.one more important thing is that both the companies are declaring that they are having limited stocks and the customers will be served on "first come first serve" basis.

in our opinion indian customers are not ready for 3g technology as of now.because all the service providers are still in 2g era.basically these technologies are used for better speed in case of internet.but we still hope that the much hyped "iphone" will do some business..
